Fruit Tree Care 101

Real Food Farm and the Baltimore Orchard Project join forces to offer a hands-on workshop about fruit tree maintenance, including an indoor presentation on many common types of fruit trees as well as a demonstration outdoors to cover training and pruning techniques on apple, fig, persimmon, pear, and plum trees. $15, $10 for CGRN members. Rain Gardens 101 Workshop

Learn how a rain garden works, what to expect if you want to put one in your landscape and how to properly maintain your garden. Community Greening Resource Network Summit

Community Greening Resource Network members are invited to the 4th Annual CGRN Summit to share feedback from the 2013 year and have a chance to network with fellow gardeners. This year's summit will include food, drink, networking, a presentation from Baltimore Green Space on new efforts for forest patches in Baltimore City, an opportunity to provide feedback on CGRN benefits and program components, and a great time to raise any personal garden needs.
